Built for solo operators and small crews. Cancel anytime.
When would you use this?
- Adjusting a customer's price going forward, based on how long the job actually takes.
- Dialing in a target $/man-hr so your pricing protects profit instead of guessing.
- Comparing the math on running 2 guys vs 3 on the same property.
- Seeing which jobs are actually paying, so you can price the next one with more confidence.
How it works
Three steps. No customer-facing quotes, no invoicing, no fluff.
1Step 1Start the timer
Tap start when you pull up. Tap stop when you're loaded back on the trailer.
2Step 2Enter crew size, price, and target
How many people worked it, what you charged, and your target $/man-hr.
3Step 3See over, under, or on target
Plain verdict. Actual $/man-hr next to your target. Base price shown as a floor, not a customer quote.
What you actually see
One screen, both directions. MowRate tells you when a job beat your rate — and when it didn't.

- • Status pill: over, under, or on target
- • Verdict in one sentence, past tense
- • Base price = target × crew × hours worked
- • Actual $/man-hr next to your target
Built for solo operators and small crews
Works on your phone in the truck
Mobile-first. Big buttons. Readable in daylight.
Solo or small crew
Set crew size per job. Man-hours and $/man-hr adjust automatically.
Not a customer quote tool
Base price is your floor to hit target — never framed as an estimate you'd send a homeowner.
Straightforward past-job history
Look back at what you charged, what you hit, and what you didn't.
Synced to your account
Sign in once and your jobs and history follow you across devices. Track a job on your phone in the truck, review the numbers on your laptop at home — same account, same history.

Common questions from operators
Does it send quotes or estimates to customers?+
No. MowRate is operator-only. The base price is a floor to hit your target rate — not a customer-facing quote.
Can I use it with a 2 or 3 person crew?+
Yes. Set crew size per job and MowRate calculates man-hours and $/man-hr from that.
What if I forget to start the timer?+
You can edit the job details after the fact — crew size, price, and target. The verdict updates.
Do very short jobs give weird numbers?+
Anything under a minute is flagged as unreliable and the base price is hidden until enough time is tracked.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel from Settings inside the app in one click. Annual plans are refundable within 14 days.
How do I cancel?+
Open Settings inside MowRate and click Manage billing. You can also cancel from the Stripe receipt email.
Where is my job history stored?+
In your account. History syncs across every device you sign in on.
Do I need an account?+
Yes. Sign in once and your subscription, jobs, and history are tied to your account.
What happens if I switch phones?+
Sign in on the new phone and your full history is there. Nothing to export or migrate.
Can I use MowRate on my phone and my laptop?+
Yes. Sign in on both — they share the same account and the same job history.
Is my data safe?+
Your jobs are stored in your account and only visible to you. We don't sell or share your data.
